Position Overview:

We are looking for a Visual Communications Designer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for creating visually stunning designs and animations to communicate impactful messaging. The ideal candidate should have experience with the Adobe suite and ideally have some understanding of tools like Figma to contribute to light UI/UX design and collaborate effectively with our development team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Design and animate engaging static and dynamic content tailored for digital signage and interactive screens across various industries along with developing our own marketing materials regularly for new products and value propositions.
• UI/UX Design: Support the development of user-friendly interfaces by working on light UI/UX design tasks in tools like Figma to design basic interactive flows for our development team to execute.
• Oversight and Execution of Digital Marketing Channels: preparing plans for our regular monthly social media content and specific campaigns that we may want to execute.
• Customization: Collaborate with clients to adapt content to their branding and business objectives.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of design assets in interactive applications.
• Innovation: Stay updated on trends in design and technology to keep our content modern and impactful.
• Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand creative requirements and deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications:

• No prior experience is necessary - proven expertise in graphic design, animation and visual communications is more important (portfolio required).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.) and animation tools.
• Familiarity with Figma or similar UI/UX design platforms.
• Strong understanding of visual design principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Creative mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to learn about new tools and technologies within our industry in a self driven fashion.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
• Experience with 3D design or advanced motion graphics is advantageous.
• Digital Marketing familiarity, with tools like Instagram, SEO, LinkedIn PPC etc.
